About CicLAvia—Heart of LA
CicLAvia—Heart of LA invites Angelenos to enjoy 7.15 miles of car-free streets, connecting some of the city’s most historic neighborhoods, including MacArthur Park, Downtown LA, Chinatown, Little Tokyo, the Arts District, East LA, the 6th Street Viaduct, and Mariachi Plaza. Open to all ages and abilities, the event encourages walking, cycling, roller skating, or simply relaxing and exploring the city in a new way.
Celebrating 15 Years of Community and Fun
Since its launch in 2010, CicLAvia has hosted more than 60 car-free events across Los Angeles, welcoming nearly two million participants. The program transforms streets into public spaces that foster community connection, promote physical activity, and encourage people to experience Los Angeles neighborhoods on foot, bike, or other people-powered transportation.
