LA26 Non-Fondo Ride Brings Southern California Cyclists Together
Davis Phinney Foundation Masters Cycling Team Hosts LA26 Ride
The Davis Phinney Foundation Masters Cycling Team welcomed cyclists from across Southern California for the recent LA26 Non-Fondo Ride, hosted in partnership with The Stonehaus in Westlake Village.
Cyclists From Across Southern California Turn Out
The free community ride drew an impressive turnout, including cyclists from all over Southern California, with some making the trip from as far away as San Diego and Riverside County. Riders gathered at The Stonehaus before heading out on several scenic routes through the Santa Monica Mountains.
The event was created as a relaxed alternative to a traditional organized fondo, bringing cyclists of different backgrounds and abilities together for a morning focused on riding, friendship, and the Southern California cycling community.
TRU Cycling, ambassadors to the team, also showed up in force, bringing a large group of riders and adding to the strong turnout and sense of community throughout the morning.
Supporting the Davis Phinney Foundation and Parkinson’s Community
Beyond the ride itself, the event provided another opportunity for the Davis Phinney Foundation Masters Cycling Team to raise awareness for the Davis Phinney Foundation and its mission to help people with Parkinson’s live well today.
Thanks to Riders, Sponsors and Event Partners
The team thanks The Stonehaus, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., all of its sponsors, and everyone who participated for their support and for helping make the LA26 Non-Fondo Ride such a successful and memorable event.
