Lance Armstrong Receives Lifetime Ban and Stripped of Tour de France Titles


After reviewing  USADA’s Reasoned Decision, the UCi has banned Lance Armstrong for life from competing in cycling and will strip him of his seven Tour de France titles, which he earned from 1999-2005.

In a press conference that was held in Geneva, Switzerland, UCI President Pat McQuaid said, “Lance Armstrong has no place in cycling.” He also stated that “Cycling has a future.”
