The week kicked off with the Team Presentation at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, which hosts some great bands. An open bar got the evening started as the crowd mingled and then dinner was served prior to the Team Presentation, which introduced the team captains Peter Sagan, Ivan Basso, Elia Viviani, Moreno Moser, Damiano Caruso and the entire 2014 squad.

About 100 lucky Golden Ticket winners from select SoCal dealers were invited to attend the Team Presentation and concert where the Team joined seasoned rockers in a band known as “The Green Machine”, a special Cannondale band made up of rock legends with Curt Schneider on bass (Five For Fighting and Richie Sambora), Jared Shavelson on drums (BoySetsFirst and Purelove), Michael Ward on guitar (Gogol Bordello and The Wallflowers), John Rubano on the vocals (Jim Belushi and The Blues Brothers) and Matt Rollings on the keyboard (Fiona Apple and Richie Sambora).

Moreno Moser’s talents on the bike also transferred to the stage as he rocked with the band on several songs.

Over the next two days, we will have the opportunity to interview and photograph the riders as well as go on some rides.

It is evident that the Cannondale Pro Cycling Team has great chemistry on and off the bike and that should translate to many more wins in 2014!
