Product Review: NiteRider MiNewt Mini 350 USB & Plus Bike Light

If you have a busy work schedule and can’t always ride in the daylight, NiteRider has many choices of bike lights to choose from based on your needs and budget. When I think of lights for bicycles the one name that I always think of is NiteRider, after using their lights for several years. They just make a solid and reliable product and the new MiNewt Mini 350 USB & Plus bike light is no exception.

Having used the previous version of the NiteRider MiNewt Mini bike light I was completely happy with that model, however the new version has many improvements.

These improvements start with a USB rechargeable Li-Ion battery that allows you to charge via your computer or USB charger. This comes in handy when you can charge the light battery from your computer.

The MiNewt Mini.350-USB & Plus has 4 light modes and 3 light levels including high, medium, low and a flashing mode. With 350 Lumens you get ample lighting to see the road and for other to see you, as well.

The MiNewt Mini.350-USB & Plus has a low battery indicator if your using too much of the high beam or just riding a little longer than expected.

The claimed run time is 2-6 hrs depending on the mode your riding in. My experience has varied a little, with the charge time taking about 4.5 hours.

The NiteRider MiNewt Mini.350-USB & Plus comes with everything you’ll need to get the most out of riding at night.
