The SCNCA Team Time Trial Championships were held at Lake Los Angeles where Teams had their opportunity for a Championship title following last weekends Individual Championship. Missing from the 23.5 mile event were the trademark winds and gone was the opportunity to hit speeds up to 40mph on the finishing stretch.
Spy Giant Ride p/b MRI (Waggoner, Vasilas, Fiedler, Walters) put in the fastest time for the Elite Men with a time of 47:34:24. An untimely mechanical after during mile 4 left the team to do the last 20 miles with only 3 riders while still putting 1:10 over the closest time.
