Cyclevox, the UK’s leading cycling commentary, PR and production company, has today announced the launch of the world’s first dedicated women’s cycling video channel, Voxwomen (voxwomen.com).
The initiative launched on Saturday, 28 February, on a weekend where women’s cycling will be in the spotlight as Dame Sarah Storey takes on the World Hour Record.
The online service, which is produced by women for women, will give subscribers an exclusive insight into the women’s international peloton. Viewers will enjoy news coverage of some of the world’s greatest female cycling events, rider interviews, cycling challenges, ‘top tips’, ‘top tens, how to’ content plus much more.
Cyclevox Founder and UCI Women’s World Cup Commentator, Anthony McCrossan, is launching Voxwomen to give female professional cyclists a voice and to encourage equality across the sport.
He said: “Cycling’s popularity is rapidly growing however there is a real need for on-going investment in women’s cycling at the highest level. I have always been an advocate of the women’s professional racing scene and am pleased to be able to assist with the continued growth of the sport through the creation of Voxwomen.
“We will utlise the production skills and expertise built up by Cyclevox over the last seven years to create fresh, female focused content which I’m certain will inspire riders of all levels and ages to join us on our Voxwomen journey. We have brought together a great team of women who have been working hard to pull our first videos together. The response from the professional teams we have filmed has been fantastic.”
Leading industry organisations, Madison and Trek have both backed the channel and have signed up as Voxwomen Founding Sponsors. Sufferfest,, which offers high-intensity cycling training videos, is also working with the channel as a Voxwomen Partner.
