The San Dimas Stage Race continued with the San Dimas Community Hospital Road Race around Lake Puddingstone and Bonelli Park. The course included a climb up Heckler’s Hill each lap, which was even more challenging with the heat and wind.
There was some fast racing action in all categories. In the Pro men’s race, Alfredo Rodriguez (EP Cyclists) won from a fast field sprint to the line. Janier Acevedo (Team Jamis) held on to the GC lead.
In the women’s race, Mia Manganello (Visit Dallas DNA Pro Cycling) won from a fast charging field. Kristen Armstrong (Twenty16 Ridebiker) retained the leaders jersey.
