2019 Manhattan Beach Grand Prix

The 58th Annual Manhattan Beach Grand Prix was held on a beautiful summer day in the beachside community of Manhattan Beach.  A generous and equal prize list of $8,000 was offered for both the Pro 1/2 Men’s and Women’s 1-3  race.

The Manhattan Mile elite runners race returned this year with a $1,000 first prize to the fastest man and woman runner and the popular Kids Races made it a fun day for the family, with a great opportunity to get more kids on bikes!

The Pro 1/2 Men’s race ended with field sprint with Cory Williams (Legion of Los Angeles) taking the win ahead of Robin Carpenter (Rally UHC Cycling) in 2nd and Ryan Jastrab (Wildlife Generation pb Maxxis) in 3rd.

The Women’s 1-3 Race saw Coryn Rivera (Team SunWeb) solo to victory, winning for the second year in a row,  followed by Emily Georgeson (Methods to Winning Elite) in 2nd and Amber Neben (Cogeas Mettler Look Pro Cycling Team) in 3rd.

The Manhattan Beach Grand Prix also held the Elite State Criterium Championships, which saw race winners Coryn Rivera and Cory Williams win the Championship titles.
