Tech & New Products: ROSE Bikes Presents New Entry-Level Road Bike

ROSE PRO SL Bike

An “Endorphin Rush” on two wheels for everyone: The ROSE PRO SL

With the release of the new endurance road bike PRO SL, ROSE Bikes sets new standards regarding design aesthetics and functionality in the lower price segment. The aluminium racer of the bicycle company from Bocholt stands out for its clean and elegant frame design and continues ROSE’s new design DNA, which was already introduced with the predecessor model. Whether you are a mountain specialist, adrenalin junkie or everyday hero – the PRO SL is designed for all cyclists who would like to experience road cycling with all its facets. The ultimate “endorphin rush” is guaranteed with it.

The frame of the PRO SL weighs under 1300 grams and is made of torsion-resistant aluminium. Its ground seams and spectacular, clean design along with straight lines, long light-refracting edges and dynamic chamfers define the new ROSE design – throughout all the 2020 frame platforms. Fully integrated cable routing builds the basis for this clean look and create a clean cockpit that you usually only see on high-end road bikes. Despite complete integration, the cables can be easily maintained and are also compatible with upcoming ROSE cockpit solutions. Handlebar, stem and spacers can be easily replaced, without having to disconnect cables. The PRO SL is available as a rim brake and a disc brake version.

Maximum comfort without compromising on performance

The fully integrated clamping of the ROSE seat post is a novelty for aluminium road bikes in the entry-level price segment. This allows for a perfect and simple adjustment of the saddle height. Depending on your gender, you can either choose a saddle for the male or female anatomy in order to guarantee a high level of seating comfort. The PRO SL is offered in 10 different frame sizes in total, starting at 45cm and 48cm (650b) up to 65cm, for body heights between 150cm and 210cm. The new carbon fork (not for 650b versions) guarantees improved performance thanks to a great balance between stiffness to weight and flex. In addition, a tyre clearance of up to 32mm (disc version / rim version: up to 25mm) increases comfort and safety on the road.

Technical refinements and safety

Besides the clean design aesthetics, the new endurance road bike PRO SL also stands out for technical refinements: The Direct Mount derailleur hanger ensures even more direct shifting. 12mm thru axles emphasize the standard of this modern road bike. The small and light flat-mount disc system (PRO SL Disc versions), with a mount for 160mm brake discs, can be mounted without adapter and ensures ideal control on high-speed descents.
