The 2021 Southern California competitive road cycling season wrapped up yesterday at California Bicycle Racing’s CBR Criterium # 6 – Series Finale in Carson, CA.
With a late start to the season due to the pandemic, the race season was extended to mid-October versus the traditional August end of season timeframe.
Despite the late-season date, the racers showed up ready to race and compete for double Best All-Around Points and Most Assertive Rider points.
With just a few months before the 2022 race season kicks off again in January, it will be a busy off-season of preparation for most along with some well-earned downtime to rejuvenate and get ready for next year!
