AB 645 Will Slow Streets and Save Lives. #PassAB645
Streets Are For Everyone (SAFE) has shared that the speed camera safety bill, AB 645, will be heard in the Senate Appropriations Committee this coming Monday, August 28th. SAFE is encouraging cyclists and pedestrians to call in support of this life-saving legislation that will be heard sometime between 10 am-12 pm.
SAFE asks everyone to, “Please activate your volunteers and join us in helping push this important bill forward. Read here for more stats on why speed kills.”
Call 877-226-8163, type Access Code: 1618051 starting at 10 AM. AB 645 will be heard sometime between 10 AM and 12 PM.

Excessive speed leads to crashes, injuries, and fatalities especially for the most vulnerable – pedestrians and cyclists.
