Cynisca Cycling Welcomes Alexis Magner and Heidi Franz to 2025 Roster
Cynisca Cycling is proud to announce Alexis Magner (neé Ryan) and Heidi Franz have signed to join the team’s 2025 roster.
Alexis Magner: Leadership and Experience for Cynisca
Magner is currently one of the leading criterium racers in the USA with 12 years of pro road racing experience, including six years with world tour team Canyon/SRAM. She brings leadership and tactical experience to Cynisca, a USA-based, UCI pro continental team.
Magner’s Excitement to Lead and Mentor the Next Generation
I’m extremely excited to start a new chapter in my career by joining Cynisca as a team leader and captain,” said Magner. “During my time as a professional racer, I have had a few of the best riders in women’s cycling history as my mentors. I have known success, and failure. My biggest goal for this new chapter is to pass along my knowledge of the sport to the next generation. This team is bursting with talent, and I hope to play a big part in ushering that talent to the pinnacle of women’s cycling.
Heidi Franz: International Talent with a Bright Future
Franz is a leading US rider who also brings international experience to Cynisca. She has raced with continental teams such as LifePlus Wahoo, DNA, ZAAF, and InstaFund. Most recently, she raced for TEAM USA Cycling in the UCI World Road and Gravel Championships.
