The SoCal High School Cycling League is recruiting for additional members to join their Board of Directors. The SoCal League’s President & Executive Director, Matt Gunnell wrote:
‘The SoCal High School Cycling League is a California Non-Profit Corporation which currently falls under NICA’s National Non-Profit status. As such, we have a Board of Directors made up of folks from around SoCal interested in helping to ensure we’re here for a long time to continue building and evolving our program (we’re wrapping up our first 10 years now and want to move forward for decades to come).
Members of the SoCal League Board serve two-year terms as either “members at large” or in the elected offices of President, Vice President, Treasurer, or Secretary.
We have our annual meeting in June (where elections/appointments of Board Members as well as elections for Officers will be held) and have a few good candidates who have already submitted applications but we’re looking for more!
If you have a passion for getting “MoreKidsOnBikes” across Southern California and have dimensions you think you can add please shoot me an email and I can answer questions and send you an application!”
