Video: Trek Helps NICA Get More Kids on Bikes

Video: Trek and NICA Aims to Get More Kids on BIkes

This past fall, 700 kids from America’s heartland visited Trek’s global headquarters for National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) Wisconsin State Mountain Bike Championships.

NICA is a non-profit organization that promotes high school mountain biking programs in the United States and provides governance, leadership, and program support to regional high school mountain biking organizations.

According to Trek’s web site, “Trek and Trek retailers make up the largest annual contribution to the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA). In addition to providing startup funding for new leagues and offering discounts for NICA student-athletes and coaches, Trek donates $10 from the sale of every Trek full suspension mountain bike directly to NICA. Many Trek retailers match this donation.”

This video will put a smile on your face and shows the joy that bikes can bring to kids and their families while creating a lifelong passion that helps cycling grow in the future.

For more information on NICA and how you can participate as a student / athlete, parent / coach, supporter or retailer and help get more kids on bike visit trekbikes.com.
