33rd Annual Tucson Bicycle Classic Stage Race March 1-3

2019 Tucson Bicycle Classic

Great Courses, Weather and Local Food

Kick your spring racing season into full swing with the Tucson Bicycle Classic Stage Race on challenging courses in the beautiful, picturesque Tucson Mountain Park area of the Sonoran Desert west of Tucson!

Rolling terrain, gentle climbs and several fast descents add to the excitement while racing in 27 USAC categories, including Pro/1 Men and Pro 1-2 Women, extensive masters fields and USAC Junior Development Race age groups. Custom race leader jerseys by Pactimo and a $10,000 CASH (yes, cash) purse with equal payout.  Enjoy a vibrant downtown and nearby University area with great food choices after the races. Getting to and from the races is easy: 2 courses are a short drive or ride from downtown and 1-10 and the other less than 30 minutes from town off the interstate.

The Classic brings racers and their families from all over the west and beyond; come early or stay after and chose from an extensive network of organized daily rides or ride solo on the LOOP (with over 100 miles of options) up Mt Lemmon, over picturesque Gates Pass, etc. The TBC staff is dedicated to putting on a unique short TT/2 road race event that racers want to return to year after year. Official Race Hotel (ask for TBC discount) Ramada by Wyndam, $95 night + taxes, full breakfast, close to stage 1 and 3. (800) 551-1266 or (520) 239-2300 http://www.tucsonramada.com
