The San Dimas Stage Race wrapped up three days of racing with the Incycle / Cannondale Old Town Grand Prix in Downtown San Dimas.
The racing was action packed with all categories racing throughout the day under warm temperatures. We captured the Cat 2, Pro Women and Pro Men’s races which were hotly contested and exciting until the final sprint to the line.
In the Pro Men’s race, former ProTour rider JJ Haedo (Jamis / Hagens Berman) easily won the sprint (Watch Video). The Women’s race saw Olympian Gillian Carleton (Specialized-lululemon) take the sprint seated with the power and speed of a trackie (Watch Video). In the Cat 2 Men’s race, Stage 17 Racing rode a great race to bring home the win with Ian Moore driving it to the line.
Janier Acevedo (Jamis Hagens Berman p/b Sutter Home) held on to the Overall GC for the victory in the Pro Men’s race, with Mara Abbott (ExergyTwenty16) clinching the Overall win in the Women’s race. The Get Crackin’-MS Society team rode a nice race, which saw Efren Flores the the Overall win in the Cat 2 race.
