Belgian Star Visits Cervélo Headquarters in Laguna Beach
Team Visma – Lease a Bike’s Wout van Aert recently spent time in Southern California, mixing sponsor responsibilities with a chance to connect directly with fans. His visit began in Laguna Beach, where he stopped by Cervélo’s headquarters to meet the team, talk product development, and get a behind-the-scenes look at the work that goes into his race equipment.
Joining the SoCal Cycling Community
One of the highlights of the trip was the Red Bull Roll Out community ride in Santa Monica. Local cyclists had the rare opportunity to ride alongside one of the world’s top riders. Van Aert’s approachable style and enthusiasm made the event memorable for all participants, highlighting his commitment to connecting with fans beyond professional racing.
Motorsports and Los Angeles Culture
Beyond cycling, Van Aert embraced the thrill of California with a high-speed motorsports session at The Thermal Club with pro cyclist Margaux Vigié. He also enjoyed watching an NBA game at the Crypto.com Arena featuring the LA Lakers VS. the San Antonio Spurs and also played basketball with Reggie Miller at the Red Bull Athlete Performance Center taking in a bit of Southern California’s sports and entertainment culture.
