Spooky Kross, which is part of the SoCal Cross Prestige Series, was held at the Pomona Fairplex where the Elite Men and Costume event were held under the night skies and stadium lights. The riders competed on the horse track and infield over tricky obstacles that included a run up, sand pit, fly over, BMX rhythm section and a scary pit that resembled a giant grave!
In the Elite Men’s race, the Gritters Brothers (Brandon and Kyle) got a gap early on and held it to the end with Series Leader Brandon taking the win just ahead of Kyle.
Below are the results for the Elite Men and Women’s races from Day One. The festivities continue on Sunday with more CX racing at the Pomona Fairplex.
