Pacific Sunset Velo welcomes and invites everyone to their first race of the year, the Dare to Race Grand Prix which will be held on February 28, 2016.
Race Promoters Ray and Irma Moreno explained, “After nineteen years in Ontario it was the time to make a change in our venue due to the high cost of fees and the City of Ontario changes to promoters. We moved just 8 miles down the 60 freeway from Ontario to Jurupa Valley in Riverside. We have in the last nineteen years given So Cal a great course to race on and we promise to do the same in Jurupa Valley.”
They said, “We are happy with our new location and invite all racers, clubs and their families to attend and enjoy a great day of racing, great location and great course. The course is 1.1 miles with three turns, a little rise out of turn two to turn three and a flat finish.”
Ray Moreno added, “Due to the Environmental Health Department permit, we will no longer have a snack bar and there will be no sales of food or beverages. Please bring your own food and beverage drinks for the day. No tailgate parties will be allowed, which means no cooking on site. We have no permit to cook.
See the race flyer for all new information on location and parking. There will be curb side parking only, with no parking center of the street. You may receive a ticket. We will have three sheriff’s on site all day.
New rules, new location, please follow them. See you Sunday.”
