At 25, California native, Justin Williams returns to Cylance-Incycle p/b Cannondale for the 2017 season after amassing 15 total victories for the team in 2016. Williams is a combined eight-time road and track US National Champion. This past season, he brought home two stage wins and secured the sprinters jersey at the North Star Grand Prix for Cylance-Incycle p/b Cannondale. “Williams had a breakout year in his young career,” says Cylance-Incycle p/b Cannondale Director Sportif, Hilton Clarke. “With the addition of Karl Menzies, the team will be able to assist Williams to many more wins in 2017,” concluded Clarke. “Williams is a great fit with Cylance-Incycle p/b Cannondale, through the team’s comradery, support, and mentorship, he is sure to achieve even greater results in 2017.”
Kyle Murphy, also 25, has been riding a bike for transportation since childhood in Minnesota, but has only raced professionally for two years. With a college degree in furniture design, Murphy has a great appreciation for the outdoors and detailed projects. In his first two years as a professional, Murphy has already shown a lot of promise. With solid performances at the Tour of Gila and USA Pro National Championships, Murphy is just beginning a promising cycling career. “With numerous top finishes in his young cycling career, Murphy’s results are at the level of a seasoned professional. Since Murphy has only been racing traditional bikes for a few years, I believe the experience available to him in Cylance-Incycle p/b Cannondale will help him navigate his way to greater heights in 2017,” says Clarke.
