The Dirty Kanza is a 206-mile adventure beginning and ending in Emporia, Kansas. There isn’t much out there, just a gravel road stretching across farmland as far as the eye can see. For Kaitie Keough, this race was a new challenge. Ted King tasted victory two years ago, while last years’ edition ended with a stroke of bad luck. This year, aboard similarly equipped SuperX bikes, Kaitie and Ted powered their way to resounding wins. The Queen and King of Kanza were crowned with belt buckles, this is Kansas after all.
