ICE Sportswear and Boost CycleSport present the 2021 LAX Circuit Race on Westchester Parkway along the LAX runway on Sunday, June 27th. The following race categories are included for the scheduled day of bike racing – Men’s, Women’s, Juniors, Masters, Pro, and Kids races in multiple categories, all day.
The Pro 1, 2 Men can race twice, once for the “stage” win and again for the Omnium overall win. The Omnium format offers exciting action for all. Each race offers points to the leaders of each lap. That, combined with the finish sprint points, will determine the Omnium leader for the second race. “It is no longer just about the sprint finish. The constantly changing race situations will be exciting to watch,” says Armin Rahm, Boost CycleSport coach and race promoter. The Winner will wear the leader jersey in the second Pro race. The total points will declare the overall winner.
The Pro Women will race for equal prize money with cash primes on each lap.
Entry fees range from $ 15 -$ 55 per person. Pre-registration closes on June 24, 2021, at 11:59pm.
