A great lineup of cycling events will be taking place this weekend in Southern California with the Barrio Logan Grand Prix and Chuck Pontius Criterium for a fun, speed-filled weekend! The Giro di San Diego Gran Fondo 30 Day Challenge also starts this weekend and runs from May 13 – June 11, 2022.
Barrio Logan Grand Prix
Join in the thrill of fast-paced heart pounding competitive bicycle racing by pro racers and top-level amateurs at the Barrio Logan Grand Prix.
The 2022 Barrio Logan Grand Prix is hosting the SCNCA Junior Criterium Championships, as well races for all categories of USA Cycling Men, Women, and Masters; plus Community Kid’s races and a Bike Safety Rodeo and Helmet Giveaway!
Chuck Pontius Criterium
Held in Santa Clarita, CA the Chuck Pontius Criterium is a fun, challenging criterium that is held on a fast .7 mile long course with three right hand turns.
Giro di San Diego Gran Fondo 30 Day Challenge
The Giro di San Diego Gran Fondo 30 Day Challenge starts this weekend and runs from May 13 – June 11, 2022
- Climbing Challenge – Earn achievement pins at 10,000 ft / 25, 000 ft / 50,000 ft / 100,000 ft
- Distance Challenge – Earn achievement pins at 250 mi / 500 mi / 750 mi / 1000 mi
- All participants of the 30-Day Cycling Challenge will receive a commemorative bib, free t-shirt, a medal and have access to the custom website to track their progress. All ride data must be uploaded within 24 hours of the ride
The Giro di San Diego Gran Fondo, a celebration of cycling and food, will be held in beautiful Escondido, CA on June 11th.
