On October 9th, CicLAvia – Heart of LA, featured 7 miles of car-free open streets for cyclists, skaters and walkers to enjoy a fun-filled day. Participants of all ages and abilities played, explored local gems, and took in the sights, while experiencing a safe, people-powered transportation on car-free open streets. The CicLAvia – Heart of LA provided an opportunity to explore the streets of Echo Park, Downtown LA, Historic Core on Broadway, Civic Center, Chinatown, Little Tokyo, and the Arts District. For the first time, CicLAvia – Heart of LA also included the opportunity to ride and recreate on the new iconic 6th Street Bridge.
