Boulevard Road Race and SCNCA Championships

The 41st annual Boulevard Road Race, held May 10, 2025, in San Diego County, once again delivered a demanding course featuring steep climbs, rugged terrain and temperatures over 100 degrees. This year’s race doubled as the Southern California/Nevada Cycling Association (SCNCA) Road Race Championships, attracting elite, amateur, collegiate, and masters cyclists from across the region and was hosted by Koz Events.

Elite & Pro Men

In the Men’s Pro/1/2 category, Carlos Macpherson (OLINKA) crossed the finish line first overall, showcasing strong endurance and tactical skill. Darren Fahy earned the SCNCA Cat 1 title as the top regional finisher. Eddy Huntsman (UTC/ButcherBox) and Rex Roberts (SoCalCycling.com Team) rounded out the podium with solid efforts.

Women’s Categories

The Women’s 1/2 category saw Elisa Luo (A Faster Me) take the win. The Women’s 4/5 category saw Alexandra Leaf  win, while Jade Stevens led the Women’s 35+ field. Collegiate riders like Holly Kular and Kayla Delk represented their schools with top finishes in the women’s C and D divisions.
