On Sunday, December 7, Los Angeles will celebrate its eleventh CicLAvia, transforming 6 miles of normally congested streets into a car-free, linear park for strolling, biking, playing, and experiencing the city from a new perspective.
According to CicLAvia.org, ”CicLAvia makes its first journey to South LA on December 7. The South LA route will connect beautiful Leimert Park with historic Central Avenue, traveling along Martin Luther King Boulevard. Participants will be able to enjoy the sights, music, food and culture that makes South LA such a vibrant part of Los Angeles.”
CicLAvia is free of charge and open to all from 9 am until 3 pm. No reservations are required. For more information, or to download maps, visit CicLAvia.org.
