iRT Wheels Announces New US Mens Pro Continental Cycling Team

The US cycling circuit has a new addition. Inertia Racing Technology (iRT Wheels) has announced the creation of Team iRT Racing, a men’s continental cycling team based out of Southern California.  The new team features a competitive roster with athletes from both the United States and Mexico. Directed by Haldane Morris, iRT Racing will be competing nationally, as well as select international races starting in 2015.

“We have assembled a youthful roster, with both up-and-coming young stars and some younger seasoned veterans,” stated Morris. “Our goal is to take this youthful base and develop them into a seasoned team by through the opportunities of competing at International races in Europe, Asia and South America and big races in the United States, such as the US Pro Road Championships, Cascade Cycling Classic, Gila and many others. We have very optimistic expectations of them and expect to be very competitive.”

Backed by a veteran support staff, the mission of Team iRT Racing is to bring back to the pureness of the sport and the development of the athletes.  “Our plans are to develop this team with the ideals of the pureness of sportsmanship and the sport of cycling, “ says iRT Racing co-owner Ray Asante. “By creating a cohesive environment between athletes and sponsors, we can together build a program that will be a great experience for not only the spectators and the team, but the sport as well.”

Team sponsors include: TRP Brakes, Kuat Racks, Pactimo, GQ-6, K-Edge, Panaracer, Xpedo, Mobile Edge, Ritte Bicycles, Arundel , BSX Athletics, Velo Saddles, CarbonPro Sports, Zuca, Shimano, PFC Nutrition, KOR Water, Minoura,  Pedalers Fork, Cruz Bar, SPF Addict, Doc’s Skincare, Crossfit Ganbatte, Endevr, Pandana, Tifosi Optics, Kask Helmets, Eurowerx, and Sallys Smart.
