SoCal’s Classic San Luis Rey Road Race is Set for April 27

The San Luis Rey Road Race will be returning to the scenic roads of San Diego’s North County on Saturday, April 27. This 26th edition of the San Luis Rey Road Race will be traversing the same challenging course it’s used since 2009 with 15 mile laps that include a rolling 400′ climb in the last 2 miles.

Racing will be offered for all levels of competitor from beginner to professional. Also, the San Luis Rey Road Race will once again be the SCNCA Super Master Road Race Championship with several fields for Masters Men 65+ and Women 60+. In addition, the Women 3/4 field continues to grow – there were 45 riders on the start line in 2012 – and they will once again be splitting out the Women 3 and Women 4 prize lists.

Come on out to enjoy some great springtime racing in one of SoCal’s classic events.
