Chrome was mainly known for their awesome messenger bags, but they also have been busy expanding the Chrome brand with many other products such as useful utility bags and a clothing line and even shoes.
SoCalCycling.com gets the opportunity to test some cool products and the Chrome De Haro is on the cool list of products to be tested. This is a well thought out wind breaker that is not only functional but fashionable, as well.
The Chrome De Haro is a water resistant and durable windproof wind breaker that has utility patch pockets on the chest with a hidden zipper pocket for cell phone access.

Moving to the back of the windbreaker there is a rear stow pocket that doubles as a stuff pack to make the jacket compact for easy transport and storage which would fit nicely in a Chrome messenger bag when not being used.
The main zipper is two – way for better ventilation and easy access to clothing pockets under the windbreaker.
There are also drawstrings on the side of the windbreaker to make it fit snug around the sides as well as drawstrings for the hood to keep things nice and snug up top.
On the side of the windbreaker there are some hidden mesh vents that allow for additional ventilation should you feel the need to hammer down to the local coffee shop.
The fit is very comfortable and light. This works great for those slightly cool summer nights when you need something nice and light to keep warm. I like that the sleeves are adjustable and if you flip the Velcro it becomes reflective for better visibility at night.
Chrome has come up with a great on the bike and off the bike technical windbreaker. I’ll be sporting this Chrome windbreaker before and after races for sure!!
The retail on the De Haro windbreaker is $95.00 and is available in Black and Oxblood.
