Photo Gallery: Ontario Grand Prix “The Icebreaker”

The Ontario Series Grand Prix kicked off the SoCal road season with the first race of 2014, with a race called “The Icebreaker”.  After a long 2013 season, some might think that racing in January is just plain crazy, but there were plenty of racers who thought otherwise and lined up chomping at the bit to get the 2014 season going.

The racing was animated throughout the day, with some teams breaking out their new kits. It seems that 1989 has returned, because neon yellow is the color of the peloton this year! Everyone loved the 80’s, so this has to be a good thing!

In the Pro 1-3 race,  former U-23 National Criterium Champion Justin Williams took the first win of the year, followed by Ryan Schneider (SoCalCycling.com / Craig Shelly) in 2nd and Orlando Garibay (Incycle Bicycles / Predator Cycling) in 3rd.
