The Redlands Bicycle Classic City of Redlands Criterium provided a great event for the large crowd came out to enjoy the great racing and expo area.
In the Pro Women’s race, the UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling Team went 1-2 with a SoCal’s Coryn Rivera taking the win just ahead of teammate Alexis Ryan.
In the Pro Men’s race, a breakaway escaped the field and held it to the end with Brendan Rhim (California Giant / Specialized) taking the win ahead of Luis Amaran (Jamis Hagens Berman p/b Sutter Home) in 2nd and Ulises Castillo (KHS – Maxxis-JL Velo) in 3rd.
Unfortunately, Race Leader Phil Gaimon crashed with 5 to go, but fell into the window where no time was lost and was able to maintain his GC lead.
