SoCalCross 2023/24 Season Races 5, 6 Complete
SoCalCross Santa Cross weekend took place in Woodland Hills, CA Dec 16-17, 2023, with cyclocross racers facing a challenging course with punchy climbs during the holiday season.
Beautiful sunny days continue to persist at the SoCalCross series this year, with temps into the high 70’s and calm conditions each day.
Women’s Race
Aine Chen (Virginia’s Blue Ridge TWENTY24 team) dominated the Elite Women’s category at Pierce College, taking victory on both the Saturday and Sunday race days.
Elite Men’s Race
In the Elite Men’s category, Joshua Anderson (Denver Disruptors) took the win on Saturday; while Kent Hammond (PAA Cycling) was the winner on Sunday’s modified course.

Next Up: CACX-CXLA-SCPS Championship – January 6th & 7th
SoCalCross plans an additional race weekend at Pierce College – races 7 and 8 (the CACX-CXLA-SCPS Championship) on January 6 and 7, 2024 to conclude the 2023/24 season.
