SoCalCross Announces CACX-CXLA Championship Weekend on January 6-7

SoCalCross Cyclocross returns to Woodland Hills

The Southern California Prestige Series of Cyclocross (“SoCalCross”) announces the CXCA-CXLA Championship race weekend at Pierce College (Woodland Hills) to be held January 6-7, 2024.

CXCA-CXLA Championship Preview

Saturday is the CACX-CXLA Championship day, with the fastest racers in each series category receiving the CA Collection Jersey by Voler Cycling Apparel.

Sunday rolls on with more CX racing to determine the overall 2023/24 SoCalCross Art of Cross Prestige Series Champions presented by Voler Apparel. Both race days count for double points toward the overall series. Custom Art of Cross Awards and Series Champion jerseys will be awarded throughout the day.

Also continuing at CACX-CXLA weekend are free beginner cyclocross clinics hosted by RideCX.com. Each clinic starts at 8am, lasts one hour, and is timed to get riders to the start line for the 1 lap first-timers race at 9am. The clinic is the perfect introduction for new riders; covering basic techniques, registration, rules, and other tips to take the intimidation out of bicycle racing for first-timers.
