We will increase our schedule in Europe for 2016, but with two Women’s World Tour races (The Women’s Amgen Tour of California and Philadelphia Cycling Classic) and several more UCI races in the US, we will be looking to perform well on home soil throughout the year.” Speaking of the new members for the 2016 season, Heal added, “the signing of Iris Slappendel to the team is an important one as we look to increase our presence in European racing. She brings a wealth of experience and strength to the squad from many years racing with some of the biggest European teams. British national time trial champion Hayley Simmonds is a relative newcomer to road racing, but she has proven her strength in time trials this year and we’re looking forward to bringing that strength to the team and helping her develop. Annie Ewart has proved her skill as a great domestique this year, and her stage win after crashing at Tour of the Gila showed grit and determination, proving she has what it takes to win. Shawn Morelli is another extremely talented and hard-working new rider for the team, we look forward to supporting her efforts throughout the year. Diana Peñuela brings a turn of speed that will see her fit well into the blue train in a variety of settings. The addition of these talented five riders to our already strong group of returners puts us in a great position to build on our success moving into the 2016 season.”
