The La Verne Grand Prix was held on a 1.4-mile course that included 7 turns, a fun chicane, and a slight rise out of turn one for a little leg burner.

Majestic Cycling did a nice job with the promotion of the La Verne Grand Prix in putting on a festive atmosphere for the riders and teams that included a beer garden hosted by Old Stump Brewing Co. and an awesome band playing.

In the Pro 1-3 men’s race, Mario Zamora (SoCalCycling.com) was off the front in a solo move for several laps that looked promising but was eventually caught with one to go. In the end, the race came down to a fast field sprint that saw Tyler Locke (Support Clean Sport / BSCG / Guttenplan Coaching) power to the line for the win. Jonah Sanchez finished 2nd followed by Eduardo Cruz (SoCalCycling.com) in 3rd.

Colleen Gulick (Pickle Juice Cycling Team) took the win in the Women’s Pro 1-3 race, with Holly BRECK (Rally Cycling (Cannondale) in 2nd and  Charity CHIA D9 Foundation / CBS Cycling) in 3rd.
