Ergonomics specialist Ergon is supporting the newly-formed CANYON×DT SWISS ALL-TERRAIN RACING team, marking chapter of professional gravel racing
Ergon is proud to be equipping the new Canyon×DT Swiss All-Terrain Racing team with its ergonomic products. Competing under the team name “The Wildcards,” the roster brings together 13 athletes from five nations, combining strengths from a wide range of disciplines including gravel, ultra-endurance, cyclocross, and marathon mountain biking.
Beyond competition, the five women and eight men of the Canyon×DT Swiss All-Terrain Racing will serve as a rolling R&D test lab for Ergon, bringing product development closer to the action than ever before.“The Wildcards”will rely on Ergon’s SR Allroad Pro (for Menor Women) saddles and BT handlebar tapes.

The ever-changing environment of modern all terrain racing opens up unprecedented opportunities for Ergon’s product development team, particularly inadvancing its performance drop bar portfolio.Ergon components and prototypes will be pushed to their limits on changing surfaces and extreme weather conditions on several continents
“We are very much looking forward to working with this new professional team,” says Ergon’s athlete liaison manager Markus Zingen. “The team’s holistic new concept will significantly professionalize gravel racing and create a wide range of opportunities for both the athletes and us as a partner to drive targeted development forward.”
The team will kick off the season the weekend of the 14th and 15th of February at Santa Vall in Girona, where the pros will tackle 120 kilometers on Saturday and 85 kilometers on Sunday across demanding gravel terrain.

Throughout the races, our athletes can count on the SR Allroad Pro Carbon, an ergonomically optimized performance saddle designed specifically for both women and men: lightweight and efficient on asphalt, comfortable off-road. Firmly tuned, sufficiently shock-absorbing, and uncompromisingly versatile. A saddle engineered for maximum performance on any surface.

The team will use Ergon’s BT handlebar tapes, including BT Allroad and the all-new BT OrthoCell® tape. Both reduce hand discomfort, provide secure grip, and feature medium-coarse, counter-directional surface textures to enhance comfort as well as control.
