The Tour de Murrieta held the second stage of the omnium today with the Jax Bicycles / Rabobank Grand Prix. The course, which had great views of the Murrieta’s green hillsides, was a flat, fast six corner course that stretched one mile long.
In the Pro 1/2 race, a break of six riders escaped in the first fifteen minutes that include three Jelly Belly pb Kenda riders (Christian Kriek, Sean Mazich and Emerson Oronte), two CashCall riders (Cole House and Chris Barton) and Serghei Tvetcov from Full Circle pb Pure Gear. The six stayed off the front until the end with Christian Kriek taking the win ahead of Sean Mazich in second and Cole House for third.
